Welcome back to the Spring Term Year 6! We hope you have had a well-deserved break and are fully rested ready for a busy term ahead! Mrs Elkins and I would like to thank you all dearly for our wonderful Christmas presents – we were truly overwhelmed by all of your lovely and thoughtful gifts when we opened them on Christmas morning.
Please find below an overview of the curriculum for this half term.

Spring 1 Curriculum:
English – We are basing our work this half term around the picture book ‘Tuesday’ by David Wiesner to focus on a range of writing skills.
Maths – We will be focusing on measurement, statistics, geometry and fractions, decimals and percentages this term. Keep practicing those times tables!
RE – Christmas Unit and Baptism and Confirmation Unit
Science – Electricity
Geography – Human and Physical Features of the United Kingdom
Art – Sketching and Drawing: Landscape
PE – Badminton (Mon) and Boxercise (Tue)
Computing – Programming
