A huge thank you to those who continue to send work in, it is wonderful to see how well the children are getting on at home. Last week, the children were tasked with writing their own traditional tale. I have been sent some and they are fantastic!
Abbie worked really hard on her writing and not only has worked on her handwriting but also spent lots of time planning her story to think about what journey she wanted her story to go on. Well done Abbie!
Alannah once again blew me away with her fantastic art skills. She continues to look at the work of different artists and uses this as inspiration to create her own pieces. This week the Year One children were focusing on landscapes and Alannah looked at the work of Hockney and used this to create her own piece. She is a brilliant artist and I love seeing her different creative pursuits. Well done Alannah!
Emily worked very hard on her traditional tale. She created her own version of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. She introduced an Evil Queen and a Prince to the story. Beautiful writing and some great ideas, well done Emily!
Phoebe has been as busy as ever! She has exercised everyday both on her trampoline and going for long walks (when the weather was a bit nicer). She planted some sunflower seeds and has looked after them so well they are ready to be potted in their own plant pots as they continue to grow. She has also been working hard on her writing and has used her brilliant ideas to write her own traditional tale about a Princess called Jasmine and a witch called Agatha. Phoebe has made fantastic progress in her phonics and continues to complete daily activities to learn and practise new sounds. Well done Phoebe!
Veronica has been working hard on her maths this week. She has focused on time and solving problems relating to this. She has continued to try really hard and has succeeded! Keep up the good work Veronica, Well done!
Grace has once again worked incredibly hard to complete her home learning. She has given all curriculum areas a go and continues to achieve. You can see from the sheer number of photos that she has gone above and beyond the expectations. Have a look at all of the different things she got up to. She even spotted my mistakes in some of the code breaker tasks and wrote her own number problems to solve and make the code right! Well done Grace!
