Thank you to JJ and his family who have sent me the work JJ has been doing at home. He has been completing all of the work that has been set and the presentation was fantastic. Last week in Year 2 we looked at The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. The children were asked to read the poem and then write a letter to a friend explaining what happened on their adventure. Here is JJ’s. I was really impressed with the adjectives and adverbs he used and it looks like he was really engaged with the poem as he has retold what happened so well. Well done!

It was great to hear from Bartosz again and he has sent me all of this brilliant work! He’s been busy reading and answering comprehension questions, retelling what happened during Easter Week, finding words and adjectives in a poem, performing a poem and completing multiplication, division and fractions maths work. Well done, you superstar!

Thank you to Ollie (Y2) and Martha (YN) who have sent in some great pictures of them baking and planting seeds. It’s lovely to see you both having fun at home whilst learning some great life skills! Let us know how your plants turn out!

Well done Bartosz. The work you have sent me is fantastic. I particularly liked the muffins instructions, it looks like a lot of fun! I also liked how Bartosz used his imagination as well as facts that he read to write a diary entry about the viking from the comprehension text this week. Well done!

Percy sent me lots of work but I’ve chosen my favourite 2 to share with you. Here, he has answered questions from the reading comprehension in full sentences and he has researched another animal from the Sahara Desert and written some facts about it. Well done 😊
