Due to a waterlogged pitch the scheduled match against Wyken Croft School tomorrow has been cancelled. We did try to rearrange the fixture to play it at their school however they have the same problem. The game will hopefully take place later this month. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Mr R Youson
Yesterday 10 children from Year 1 and 2 took part in the School Games KS1 Gymnastics Competition at Tribe. This is the first year we have taken part in this competition and was a great experience for the children.
Over the last 3 or 4 weeks they have been practicing 2 routines, 1 floor and 1 vault. This dedication really paid off as the school finished in 2nd place overall with 112.3 points.
The children were a credit to the school, performing and behaving fantastically. Well done everyone.
Thank you to all the parents that managed to get their children here early on Friday mornings to practice, it was a huge help. As the children enjoyed the club we are hoping to add it to our list of clubs shortly.
I have added a few pictures below and a video of each child’s vault routine.
If the videos don’t load right on the name and click open in new tab/window.
For those of you who have children that attended gymnastics club on a Friday morning this is just a quick reminder that last weeks session was the final week of training.
However, following it’s success we are considering adding a permanent gymnastics club for KS1. Please keep an eye out for future letters and on the school newsletter for further information.
Thanks
Mr R Youson

Are your children hoping to get a new phone, tablet or computer for Christmas? If so it might be worthwhile going through the story at the bottom of this post with them. It is a festive story that will remind them about how to protect themselves from dangers online.
Please read the story yourself before sharing with your child.
12 children from Year 4 took part in an Endball festival on Friday and had a great time. As this was a festival it was all about participation and having fun, therefore no scores were kept and there was no overall winner.
The children were a real credit to the school and showed great teamwork and sportsmanship in all 4 of their games. You can see some of the pictures below. To see more photos click here.
The school will be closed tomorrow (Monday 11th December) due to severe weather conditions. In the unlikely event that this changes please check this website or our twitter account @AllSoulsPrimary for updates. All Sorts is closed too.
